A computer can be a subtle tool in the studio of the creative artist as well as a work-hourse in the workshop of the ambitious engineer. And science can be art - just think about all those algorithms that translate a 3D model into a rendered image. Computers will however never render the traditional techniques obsolete - just provide a new set of tools - with a new set of rules.
