Color Tutorials
I have put together some "Programmer's Guide to..." on the subject of mixing color.
Two tutorials, Creating Gradients and Understanding Color are now available for download. They cover how to create hue/saturation/brightness based gradients and how RGB color space is made up and a hue circle can be created with PHP.More Info

With the idea to share ideas and materials without completely giving up my own copyright I've decided to release most material on this site FREELY under two versions of the Creative Commons Licenses - one "softer" for scripts and a little "tighter" for graphics. New Website Look
Gradually during the recent month www.i2studios.com has undergone one of its many facelifting phases.I've coupled the pages with an MySQL database and inserted suitable material in it. Take a look at the Images for an example.
The Webdev site is much richer and contains most of the technology that builds up this site. So, if you like the feel, download the source and take a look.

The open source community revolving primarily around the Linux operating system and its free application has got itself a brand new forum - FedoraNEWS.ORG, a non-profit organisation focusing on the Fedora project stemming from the Red Hat distribution of Linux.

Prize Award in Europan7
An architecture competion for young european architects - Europan7 - had in its seventh edition, three sites in Sweden for the competition of 2003. One of these was Helsingborg, a medium size city in the southmost of Sweden.
Martin Clase, Mikael Ekegren, Oskar Götestam and i2 STUDIOS' own Robert Karlsson submitted an entry to the Helsingborg site, and was selected as one of two runner-ups for the project Modul which meant a shared first prize! For visualisations of the project, visit the gallery)

Tux Makes a Calender
During the last months, i2 STUDIOS has created a vast array of renderings of the world known penguin Tux, the mascot of the Linux operating system. So many in fact that the eighteen versions of Tux (wearing everything from a bathing suit to a police outfit) have been granted its own calender! This was made to celebrate the 100th issue of the world leading Linux magazine. It covers August 1st 2002 to December 31st 2003. Wow!
