3Dwm System Architecture
The 3Dwm project has been around since 1999. It is a research project aimed at exploring a three-dimensional user environment. Sort of a 3D user interface.

For a paper submission for Siggraph 2002 for PhD candidate Niklas Elmqvist, i2 STUDIOS made a rendered movie explaining the system architecture.
