Here I have put together some of my school projects from my education at Chalmers university of technology. I enrolled in 1997 and went directly through the first four years of the education. I thereafter worked one year at the architecture firm Frenning & Sjögren Arkitekter AB, spent some year as a freelancer for my own firm i2 STUDIOS and thereafter concluded my studies with the thesis VISUALISATION: Computer Aided Architecture Visualisation as a Product and Method.

High Structures was a 13 weeks long course in the fall of 2000 focusing on high constructions (not necessarily habitable buildings). After a field trip to New York City, I decided to place my project here and found a vacant site at the intersection of 5th Avenue/42nd street. The project is a utopia and a play with the relationship between computer architecture and the built structure.
The following illustrations are taken from my Master's Thesis in architecture visualisation.
To sketch in ink and lead has been a passion my entire life and continue to be so to this day. Below are some samples. I prefer ink. There is something fascinating in adding dots and lines into a complete picture and you can find beauty in details.
I first tried out working with colors using tempera and water colors. It didn't get serious until I took a extra curriculum class in painting at the university.
Computer Graphics, as I see it, is just as artistic as oil painting. It is just a little different in terms of how you create your material. You still need to be creative to succeed. I primarily use 3D Studio MAX for visualisations.
